August, 2003: Blain has commenced work on a number of special projects within south-east asia, and will be featured on BCP Website under Projects.


  April, 2003: "Portraits of famous put focus on Salvos" - Read the article by Jo Studdert, published in The Australian - Thursday 17th April 2003.


  June, 2002: Blain Crellin launches collaboration with Tania Ewing & Associates to create a cause related marketing arm to Blain Crellin Photography. The aim of the new business will be to handle the growing area of photography as a cause-related marketing tool.


  April, 2002: Beijing's Red Gate Gallery announces the arrival from Melbourne of the artist/photographer Blain Crellin as part of their residency program. Blain's project will be to photography companies and individuals working in Beijing.


  November, 2001: the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has announced the winners of this year's Beijing Fellowships. Blain Crellin, a photographer from Melbourne, Australia is one of the recipients of the grant which will enable him to photograph Australians living and working in Beijing.


  June, 2001: Blain Crellin raised more than $30,000 for The Salvation Army last night at an auction of images of prominent Australian such as Cathy Freeman, Sir William Deane and Malcolm Fraser. The launch, attended by many of Melbourne corporate heavyweights, supported their colleagues by buying the large, moody black and white images of such CEOs as Qantas' Margaret Jackson and Macquarie Bank's Laurie Cox.
